Hi. In managing a remote team, what software do you use? I use http://www.timedoctor.com which is awesome because you can see exactly what all your team members are doing at any time. Also Basecamp and some other tools.

Rob, looks like a great tool. Really what you want is any combination of tools that lets you communicate both in real time (IM, Skype, webmeetings) and asynchrononously (which is a ten dollar word for over time) like blogs, wikis, shared files and others. Some tools, like Via3 combine synchronous and asynchronous tools in one package. Others like Google Docs and Ning are free but allow you to post questions, create profiles and other things.
Like any tool kit, your virtual tool kit should contain different tools for different jobs. Thanks for posting.
