Leadership is about stepping outside one’s comfort zone. The next time one of the folks you lead approaches you with an idea, suggestion or comment, they are doing exactly what Trevor advocates. A supportive or interactive response from you the leader, the less fearful folks are about getting involved, engaged, and providing feedback and suggestions. This can be a terrific performance and productivity multiplier. Excellent interview and tips that can be used!

Ditto.

Dave, excellent point. Not only must we step out of our comfort zone, but as managers and leaders we must support others that have the courage to do the same.

Glad you enjoyed the show, and thanks again Trevor for sharing.
